A public meeting concerning injection wells will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Warren High School Auditorium, located at 130 Warrior Drive, Vincent, Ohio. This meeting is an opportunity for residents to learn more about the proposed or ongoing use of injection wells in the area and to voice concerns regarding their potential environmental and public health impacts.
Injection wells, commonly used to dispose of toxic, radioactive waste from oil and gas operations, have raised concerns about groundwater contamination and long-term community safety. Residents and concerned parties are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
The meeting is hosted by Warren Community Water in collaboration with Buckeye Environmental Network. We are working to ensure transparency and advocate for the protection of natural resources in Ohio.
